NagaJahnavi Dhulipalla is a Data Scientist in the Pokam Lab, where she combines her background in computer science and data analysis to build innovative tools for neuroscience research. She earned her M.S. in Computer Science from Indiana University and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from KL University. Joining the lab in July 2025, she has been developing automated pipelines in Python that streamline the processing of in vivo two-photon microscopy imaging data. Her work focuses on improving motion correction of fluorescence signals, enhancing ROI and cell detection with Suite2P, and applying Track2P for long-term cell tracking. She is also creating analysis frameworks for detecting seizures and spreading depolarizations in traumatic brain injury (TBI) models. By integrating software engineering practices with neuroscience applications, Jahnavi strives to make analysis more efficient, reproducible, and accessible for researchers. Beyond her work, she enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, exploring creative side projects, and drawing inspiration from music.
